We used AMAX Limo service for a group of 8 for a day of wine tasting in Napa Valley. Steve was our limousine driver. He was on time and very pleasant. The limo was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of water for us. Max, we really enjoyed our wine tasting tour! Mike was very nice and helpful and travelling in the limo was a wonderful way to visit the wineries. We loved the limo bus - it was really nice having the extra space for our group. As far as the wineries go, we loved the sparkling wines at Iron Horse and really liked Gary Farrell as well. Hop Kiln was a nice place for our lunch picnic, but we didn't enjoy the wines there very much. I was disappointed we didn't get to go to Porter Creek, but we ended up really liking the wines at Mike's brother's winery, Quivera. That ended up being one of our favorite stops. Max, Thanks again for the Wine tour and wonderful lunch....we had so much fun. Mike was a great driver, and the car, such a smooth drive to sip champagne....didn't feel any bumps which could have caused us to spill a drop.
The selection of stops were great, I liked that he asked if we had any in particular we wanted to visit but since we didn't really have any other than V.Sattui, he chose some really nice, places. What I liked about the ones he recommended was that most weren't the more "commercial" wineries. These were smaller places with employees that really wanted you there, not any of the "snooty" places we know exist in Napa.We really appreciated the bits of history Mike shared with us. Not the typical, "here's how you make wine", but history & facts about some of the wineries along the way. He obviously knows a lot of really interesting trivia which added to the enjoyment of our trip.

I had the good fortune of finding Max and Mike here on YELP! and reserved their services for a corporate event last week. As is typical with corporate events, I was asked to make several changes/additions to our original reservations, and each time I contacted AmaxLimo, Max was quick to reply and handled all the details professionally and patiently. They provided limo service for both a home/hotel pick up/return of the attendees, as well as an all-day wine tour; both services were handled perfectly and punctually! Mike was our group's driver, he too was very personable, and very professional, and took very good care of our group. On the wine tour, he even arranged to pick up our group's pre-ordered lunch at Oakville Grocery (another place I recommend!) while the group was visiting one winery, so that it would be ready for them when they arrived at the next winery for an al fresco lunch. Napa is an awesome place to visit anytime, even if you're driving yourself, but for a real treat, arrange to spend a day being chauffeured by two of the best limo drivers in the valley, Mike and Max!
